The blog

The solar plexus chakra, also called Manipura, is located in the centre of the body, just below the chest cavity.

Its physical functions are the liver, the spleen, the stomach, the pancreas, and the small intestine. In the middle of the digestive system, it transforms matter into energy.

When it is well balanced, this energy becomes light, joy, love, and compassion.

The chakra of the heart is located along the spinal column in the chest cavity. It is the central chakra, connected to the heart and to the thymus*, to blood pressure, to the respiratory and immune systems.

CHAKRAS are energy centres located along the spinal column.

The first one is located on the same level as the coccyx and is called the root chakra, that which connects us to the earth and anchors us in reality. The second one, called the sacral chakra, is located just below the navel. The third one, at the level of the stomach, is the solar plexus chakra. The heart chakra sits in the region of the body that carries its name, then comes the throat chakra. Then a little bit higher, the third eye chakra, just between the eyes, invites you to look inside yourself and to connect yourself to subtle energies. Lastly, the crown chakra at the top of the head connects us to the higher world.

It is the seat of self-expression, of speech, and of communication.

Physically, this blue chakra, called Vishuddha in Sanskrit, is linked to the neck, the thyroid, the mouth, the throat, the teeth, and the vocal cords, but also to hearing, to the sinuses, to the ears, and to all of the space around this area.
